Definitely, even when enrolled in a bundle. You can contact me and we can always figure something out.
Every path combines live online Dutch classes with video lessons, interactive exercises, and a structured course system — all in one place. You will have lifetime access to all materials, so you can revisit anything at any time.
Not at all. Videos are only one part of how we teach Dutch online. You also get interactive exercises, writing practice, feedback from your coach, and live sessions depending on your path. It is active learning, not passive watching.
Absolutely. Whether you are in Group Courses, B2 Fluency or Private Pro, your coach reviews your work and gives you clear, actionable feedback so you can improve your Dutch faster and more confidently.
You’ll have access to the materials and exercises so you can catch up. Group and Private Pro students can also discuss what they missed with their coach to stay on track.
Yes, but it depends on your path. Group courses can't be paused. Private Pro can be paused due to unforeseen circumstances.
We give you the structure, the coaching, and the speaking practice to get there — but fluency also depends on using Dutch in real life outside of class. Our goal is to give you the skills and confidence to speak Dutch naturally, and most students notice a real difference within the first few weeks.
Each online Dutch course runs for 6 weeks, with two 2-hour live classes per week. Most students progress one CEFR level per course. Getting from complete beginner to B1 level typically takes around 9 to 12 months of consistent learning — though this varies depending on your study time, starting level, and how much Dutch you practise outside of class.
Yes — when they are built for it. Most online Dutch courses simply move a classroom lesson to Zoom, which does not work well. SociaTaal's courses are designed specifically for online learning: small groups of 4 to 6 people, a modern platform, materials built for digital interaction, and a format that maximises speaking time. Our students consistently make more progress as they would in a physical classroom. And don't forget: it saves you commute time that you could be using to study!
You can get by in English in most Dutch cities, but speaking Dutch opens doors that English simply does not. It helps massively professionally, speeds up your integration, and makes daily life — from dealing with your gemeente to chatting with neighbours — significantly easier. Most internationals who start an online Dutch course with us say they wish they had done it sooner. Don't wait, start today working on Dutch and on making your life in the Netherlands easier!
